Term Meal Times
Breakfast (Mon-Sat): 08:00-09:00
Lunch (Mon-Sat): 12:35-13:30
Informal Hall (Sun-Fri): 18:00-18:30
Weekday Formal (Mon-Fri): 19:15
Great Hall (Even Thursdays): 19:15
Sunday Brunch: 11:00-11:30
Sunday Formal: 19:30
Lincoln students must wear gowns to all formals. Sub Fusc is required for Great Hall.
The chefs happily cater to the dietary requirements of students: this includes, but is not limited to, those who are vegetarian or vegan, have allergies, or who cannot eat certain foods for religious reasons. If you require a special meal, sign up before 10am (or 10am Friday for weekend meals).
All students pay a non-refundable catering charge (usually around £200/term) which provides credit towards meals in Hall and Deep Hall.
Meal Booking
You need to book for all formal halls and events and on some special occasions, you may also need to book for first hall. If you have a specific dietary requirement other than vegetarian (eg Vegan or specific allergies) you can sign up to ensure the kitchen has prepared a special meal for you. During the vacation (0th week included), booking is required for all meals except breakfast.
Booking for Great Hall, Sunday Formal and Sunday Brunch opens at 8am on Mondays.
Meal Times Out of Term: (Booking Required for all except Breakfast!)
Breakfast: 8:00am – 8:45am.
Lunch: 12:40pm – 12:50pm.
Dinner: 7:00pm.
Deepers
Deepers (AKA Deep Hall) is our awesome college bar! Food and non-alcoholic drinks are served during the daytime and alcoholic drinks in the evening. Lincoln students may bring up to 3 guests into Deep Hall, and must remain with them at all times.
Deepers is open Monday-Friday during term time.
Pastries, tea and coffee: 10:00 – 12:00
Baguettes, burgers and salads: 12:00 – 13:30
Evening bar: 18:00-23:00
